Changes in the Norwegian landscape is a performance and soundartpiece by Ebba Moi and Anna Carin Hedberg. The work investigates Norway – as a changing nation – described through the voice of immigrants, who have not yet mastered the Norwegian language. It is an auditory interpretation of the Norwegian language. A whispering game referencing a tourist information booklet which describes a Norwegian landscape. The game includes a Kurdish text that most Norwegian speakers would not comprehend.
The performance was produced by Ballongmagasinet and was shown at Cinemateket, 2003 and at LARM - festival, Kulturhuset, Stockholm, 2007. The soundpiece is released at the LARM compilation - From mouth cavity to laptop at Kning disc. More info in the LARM archive.
